# Algonquin Park — August 2024 and August 2025 ## August 2024 In August 2024, our whole family went to Algonquin Park.

We chose a 3-night camping trip — this allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the wilderness.

One day we rented a canoe for $60 and went out on the lake: the water was calm, and all around us were forests and bird calls. It was a true connection with nature, and in the evening by the campfire — coziness and conversations.

We also hiked the Centennial Ridges Trail (10.4 km, completed in 6 hours).

## August 2025 In August 2025, our whole family returned to Algonquin again, now with new experience and expectations.

We stayed at the campground again for 3 nights: the atmosphere is incomparable — silence, fresh air, and the opportunity to completely disconnect from city hustle.

We rented a canoe again for $50 and went to explore new corners of the lake. This time we also hiked the Track and Tower Trail (7.7 km, on a 25 km road).

In the evenings we listened to the sounds of the forest and watched the stars — memories that will stay with us forever.

We also attended a stargazing event where we looked through a telescope at the Moon and learned more about our galaxy. It was very exciting, the event was conducted by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
