I think everyone experiences wanting to do something that actually gives you a reward. It gives you a sense of accomplishment, and makes you feel even better. Strawberry picking is one of those things. It's simple, it gets everyone outside, and somehow it slows life down for a few hours.
We weren't looking for a huge adventure or an all-day attraction. We just wanted to spend time together, enjoy the sunshine, and come home with fresh strawberries that actually tasted like summer.
This year we decided to visit Robintide Farms, a family-owned strawberry farm just outside Toronto. We'd heard good things about it, and it ended up being exactly the kind of relaxed family outing we were hoping for.
